Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our puzzle generator

Sudoku is a logic-based number puzzle. The goal is to fill a 9×9 grid so that each row, column, and 3×3 box contains the digits 1-9 exactly once. Start by looking for cells with only one possible value, then use elimination to solve the rest.

We offer four Sudoku sizes: 4×4 (perfect for beginners and kids), 6×6 (intermediate), 9×9 (classic standard), and 16×16 (monster/giant Sudoku for experts). The 16×16 puzzles can use either standard numbers (1-16) or hexadecimal notation (0-F).

Hexadecimal Sudoku (also called Hex Sudoku) uses 16×16 grids with characters 0-9 and A-F instead of numbers 1-16. This notation is popular among programmers and makes the large grid easier to read. The rules are the same as regular Sudoku.

Yes! All puzzles can be downloaded as print-ready PDF files. You can generate multiple puzzles at once (up to 8 per page for smaller sizes) and the PDF includes solutions at the end. Our PDFs are ink-friendly with clean, high-contrast designs.

Word Search puzzles are available in English, German (Deutsch), and Spanish (Español). Each language has themed word lists covering topics like animals, food, countries, sports, and more. You can also create custom puzzles with your own words.

Yes, PuzzleForge is free to use! Anonymous users can generate a limited number of puzzles per day, while registered users get higher limits. We're working on paid plans for unlimited access. You can use the puzzles for personal use, education, or classroom activities.
